Start of Summer

These first couple of weeks of summer are always the quietest so I'm trying to soak in the down time while we can.  Having Juan at home feels very normal already. ♥

At the end of May, we had several rain showers which called for lots of playing in the rain. In early June, the girls worked on 4-H projects and spent lots of time playing outside.
Juan's 1st visit to the park. It was short-lived since it started raining not long after we got there.
Learning to play together ♥
Her tiny head can still fit in the baby hat we bought her in Nanchang.
Her head is growing but very slowly.
But she has the biggest heart! Snuggling our scared puppy during a storm.
This spells LOVE. Beilyn shared her necklace with Leila.
Brynna was thrilled to get some snuggle time with baby Juan.
Braylee has the perfect little subjects for her Child Development projects in 4-H.

She talked me out of a nap that day.
I just couldn't say no to those smiley eyes and scraped knees. 😍
I say it all the time, but Braylee is the best big sister.
I had bought the swimsuits for the opposite girls, but BellaMei's tummy was pretty snug in hers and Bria couldn't keep the ruffled bottoms up. So we did a little switcheroo and it all worked out!
She loves "all animals"...including injured flies. ha!
Lunch at Gramma's after church
Pappy set up his old lemonade stand for the girls by the 17th green behind our house.
They loved it and made some great tips. 😊
One of our favorite Sunday evening things to do...picnic at Glendale.
She is a ray of sunshine! ♥
A fort in the driveway with a picnic and popsicles.
Brynna's 4-H project- making homemade playdough with Beilyn
Alex surprised Braylee with new clubs in time for golf camp.
I thought it should be an early birthday gift, but Alex said it's her Thanks-for-always-helping-with-the-little-girls gift. I couldn't argue with that!
BellaMei's first campfire ♥
Smores at Gramma's house
Brynna donated her beautiful hair again (4th time)! 9 inches this time.
14 months old ~ This little sweet pea has picked up so many signs!
She uses her hands to say eat, more, please, milk, and all done.
Of course, they all revolve around food. 😁
So sweet! The girls line up for kisses from Juan. ♥
National BFF Day! We already had the pool date planned but always fun to celebrate!

Avocado is one of her faves!
The little bruise on her hand...one of her many blood draws. :(

Summer is already going by too quickly!
Love having all of my babies home.
