We arrived home (to a clean house thanks to Gramma!) around 11:45pm, almost 28 hrs after we left our hotel in Hong Kong. We let the girls give Juan a few snuggles and then we were all in bed by 1am.
9am the next morning. Mother's Day. ♥ What a special treat to wake up next to this sweet girl.
Cookies from China for breakfast
We had a full day! Alex went to church (and even taught Sunday School!). The girls spent the morning watching Juan's every move. We tried to stay outside to help with jet lag. As moms do, I found lots of things that needed to be done. I swept the garage and pulled the weeds in the landscaping. Then I texted my mom and sisters who would understand, especially being Mother's Day, that only a daughter of Teresa would have spent 28 hours traveling the world the day before but have the garage swept and weeds pulled by 11:30am. 😄💓 I love my momma!
4-leaf clovers seem to jump out at me. Appropriately, I found 6 on this special morning. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Our first meal all together! Our new bench is being made and will arrive this week! We're running out of seats at the table!
Big sister reading to her little sister. 😍
Showing Juan's chop to the girls. It's a personalized stamp carved from stone.
Painted name signs to match the older girls' bought on our first trip.
Check out that smooch in the background. 😉
Juan's tea set. Her province is known for their blue & white porcelain.
Imitating the dragons on the dress. Beilyn was born in the Year of the Dragon.
Mother's Day with all 6 of my sweeties!
We took a walk, grabbed some groceries, put away the suitcases, and washed up almost all of the laundry! It was a good day. ♥
First of many trips to Walmart
