4-H projects

Braylee took Photography and Child Development in 4-H again this year.  These are a few of the fun pictures she took while working on her photography project.

When she turned in her project, the judge asked her which picture was her favorite. She pointed to a picture of Beilyn.  He asked, "Is that a friend or cousin?"  Braylee replied, "No, that's my sister!" with a smile.  Later, she asked me if she should have said something different, such as adopted sister or sister from China.  I told her she had said exactly the right thing. ♥

She earned Champion in her division for Child Development and a state fair entry. We had hoped to visit the State Fair at some point but it didn't work out this year.

Kooper and Hadlee found out we were having a girl that day too!
June 21st- Father's Day! The girls gave him his gift before church that morning.
We spent Father's Day boating with Alex's family.
Beilyn was multi-tasking! ha!
Did I mention we potty-trained Beilyn at the end of May? It's made for an exciting summer. ha!
All but one of the grandbabies in the tube at the same time!
Beilyn & Pappy
Beilyn's 1st time on the jet ski. I was trying to be calm about it.
June 22nd-  Swimming date with some of our besties- Abbie and Callie
She's so cute!
June 23rd- Stopped at a random Mexican restaurant on the long trip to Braylee's post-op appointment. She was FINALLY boot & brace free on July 14th! It's been a long 14 weeks!
June 24th-  Cheering on Addie at the Little Miss contest.
June 30th- Just a regular day at Target.
Another Mexican date. ☺ We love our chips & queso!

July 11th-  Braylee enlisted her little sisters to help with her Child Development project for 4-H.
July 14th- We took the girls with us to see our Baby B #5 again.
She was being extra cute-- smiled and yawned for us, showed us a #1 with her tiny hand, and had her little ankles crossed.
We ate lunch at my Grammy's and then spent the afternoon at my parents' lake.
Braylee, Brielle, and my cousin Taryn
Our little fisherman
Then she snagged her line in a nearby tree. She climbed up to try to retrieve it. ☺
We stopped by the Greene Co. fair to watch Emilee & Ely show their calves.
Krista watched my girls yesterday while I was working. They had a blast... a movie and then swimming!

Today, we stopped by the park with ice cream cones, splashed in the sprinkler, turned in Braylee's 4-H projects, had fresh corn on the cob for dinner, and then Alex took Brynna for 9 holes of golf. I would say it was a successful summer day. Ready for a fun and relaxing weekend!
