Northwest Trip Video

Awhile back, Alex finished the video from our trip last summer, but it had been blocked until all the copyrights on the music had been approved. Now it's available in case anyone is interested in watching it.  

Brielle's 8th Gotcha & Adoption Day! {4.23.20}

Last year, we had to squeeze in celebrating Brielle's special day between a softball game, dance class, tennis, and cheer. While we are missing all of those things, it was also fun to spend the whole day with our girl!  In my heart, Brielle is our "life game-changer."  From the moment we met her, our hearts were forever changed! She is just the coolest kid and makes life a lot more fun for all of us!

Yesterday, we watched her adoption video and enjoyed a cookie cake in her honor.  She still managed to squeeze into the outfit she came to us in at 18 months old. 😆 

April 23, 2012 and every April 23rd since then.

Today, we set up a "Subway" in the kitchen and Brielle was in charge, making everyone a sandwich for lunch.  "What kind of bread would you like? Cheese?" She loves being a chef or baker!

This afternoon, Braylee took Brielle outside for a photo shoot. Braylee said she had to delete over half of them because Brielle was giggling so much. 😁

Easter 2020

Easter wasn't quite the same this year.  😔 

Another 1st for Xiaoyun

I painted our bedroom that weekend, so the girls had a pillow fight and sleepover in the living room floor on our mattress.

The girls were worried the Easter Bunny might not come since they were sleeping in the living room.  So they were extra excited when they woke up.

First, we went to Sunrise Service at church, drive-in style. Then we had regular service later via live stream at home.

Xiaoyun was taking an online class in China. It was an evening class there, but with the time change, it was an early morning class here. So that's why she's missing.

The little girls love dancing during Worship. Who would have ever thought that we would have Easter services online in our basement? 😔

SuzyQ smiled too. 😊

We missed worshipping with our church family and our traditional lunch and egg hunt at Mamaw & Papaw's house.  Praying for everything to be back to normal soon!
