"I yu you!"

BellaMei is 20 months old today! Ignore the messy play room, jammies, and bedhead (We didn't have to leave the house today! yay!) and listen to this sweet little sugar! ๐Ÿ˜ When she re-enacts her whimper from the fall... ๐Ÿ’–melt my heart!

National Adoption Month

November is National Adoption Awareness Month!
Our girls' referral pictures and now!

November is a special month for us and our girls personally too.  Six years ago today, our Beilyn's birth family chose hope for their 2 month old daughter...leaving their blue baby at the gate of a hospital in Nanchang with hope that she would be found and receive the medical care she desperately needed to save her life. Alex and I talked this morning about how Moses' mother left her infant son in an attempt to save his life too, strategically placing him in a basket among the reeds to be found. Beilyn and I prayed for her birth family tonight...asking the Lord to give them peace that she was found, is safe and dearly loved. While we wish her story didn't begin with loss, we are thankful that through His sovereignty, we get the high calling of raising this fighter girl. God used Moses, a boy named by his adoptive mother, to save His people.  God is using Beilyn, a girl named by her adoptive mother, to change hearts too. Love wins!
Braver than most.
November is also the month that we first learned about our Beilyn (on 11/11/13) and our BellaMei (on 11/14/17). Adoption is broken and sad but also beautiful and redemptive! It has completely changed our hearts!

I love this project Brielle had to make for her class. Our family wouldn't be complete without one of those little hands in it! ♥

It's still November, but 'Tis the Season!

It's still November, but Thanksgiving is over so I think it's officially Christmas season! The girls wore some of their holiday attire to church. I LOVE smocking and Peter Pan collars on little dresses. ♥
Brynna took these. I love their expressions!
Nap time! haha! Proof that she isn't always a happy baby!
That night, we had Small Group at our house. All four of them will be 3yrs old within the next 3 months!
Yesterday was our annual Christmas shopping day with Mamaw!
We took BellaMei to Claire's to get her ears pierced! She loved all of the girly stuff in the store!
She cried more when they were marking her ears than when they actually pierced them.
Mamaw always holds my girls for the piercing and buys them their first earrings.♥
Once she saw the lollipops, she was completely fine! ☺
Let's just wear all of our Christmas outfits in November. ha!
They sat pretty quietly (Thanks to Peppa cartoons on mommy's phone.) while I got my hair done at Aunt Trista's salon.
After a busy week, she made herself a little nap spot on the couch.

Thanksgiving 2018

Happy Thanksgiving!
Juan's 1st!

It's fun to see how much things have changed from just 3 years ago!  2015 to 2018
My sister, Tracee, hosted Thanksgiving this year. ♥
Typical for these 3-- Distracted by something in the woods.
My girls with my parents
My parents with all of the grandkids
My girls with my grandparents
No matter how hard they tried, that wish bone wouldn't break!
My Pa is the sweetest!
She sure gets lots of attention! ๐Ÿ’—

Emilee was 8 when Braylee was born but Bray has long since passed her up! ☺
