The rest of February {Finding Joy despite the Hard}

At the beginning of February, we received devastating news. We had known for months that my best friend hadn't been feeling well, but a diagnosis finally came the first week of February. We were all in shock. So many tears. Yet, also there was peace in knowing that He is in control of all things. I read something recently that said you don't know how strong or important your anchor is until you are in the storm. We are walking through a mighty storm right now but our anchor is Jesus, and He is steadfast.

Feb. 6th - Beilyn's annual check up with the cardiologist (and her well-loved S'mory-S'more cat).
Feb. 6th - Brielle finished out her 6th grade season with a win.
Gramma & Pappy love to cheer her on!
Liam & Ella came to watch too!
Feb. 7th
We finished the NP puzzle we had started on the snow day last week. Our friend Terri bought it for us because she said it reminded her of us. We have the same print hanging up in our basement!
Feb. 9th - Brielle's team had a little awards night at a local restaurant. Brielle received the Hustle Award!
Feb. 10th - Brynna choreographed a dance for the cheerleaders. Her coaches gave her flowers as a thank you.
Feb. 11th  - The two little girls and Brielle go to gymnastics on Saturday mornings. We have a bad habit of going to Culvers each week after class.
Feb. 12th - Sunday night pizza with our besties and hot tub time for the littles. We pretend things are normal for the kids, but there's a big elephant in the room.
Feb. 14th - The big girls received Valentines too but the little girls are better about pictures. 😉
Feb. 20th - A dinner out with Krista. We cried and prayed with our girl and prepared for the fight ahead.
Feb. 28th - Finishing off the month with USA day at school.
