Fall Break 2014 {Clifty Falls}

October 10-13~

We took our annual fall camping trip to Clifty Falls this year.  We haven't camped there since before we were married!  The weather wasn't ideal...it rained a couple of times, but overall, it was a fabulous weekend!  I don't think we ever heard the kids say they were bored!

It was raining when we arrived on Friday night. The girls ate potato soup while the dads set up camp.

Brielle and Tim love to pester each other. :)

There was a stage near our campsite. The girls made up multiple routines and put on variety shows daily.

Headed out to find a trail on Saturday morning.

Beilyn & Krista

Best Buds- Sydney & Braylee

Brynna & Addie dressed alike and requested matching hair dos, which kept us mixing up the girls all day. :)

Holding up "Cake Rock"

We adults agreed this monkey bar business is waaaay harder now!

Can't you just imagine the giggles??

Sunday, we took the girls into Madison to see the Lanier Mansion.

After a walk around downtown and a stop for frozen yogurt, we went back to camp for lunch.  Oh yes, we did have dessert before lunch. :)

More dance parties on the stage.

Sure signs of a fun camping trip... a big smile and dirty hands.

We had to cut our campfire time short when it started to rain Sunday night.

Monday, we went to the Nature Center.  Beilyn loves her new baby doll from Aunt Trista.

After we toured the inn, we took one last hike and then headed home.

A few days before our camping trip, I took all 4 girls for their well-checks at the pediatrician's office.  They are all over the board when it comes to size.  Braylee is still tall, around 80% for height.  Brynna is very average, hovering right around 50% for both height and weight.  Brielle is little, about 10% for height and 3% for weight. And then there is Beilyn... She is almost 50% for height but waaay below the chart for weight and head circumference. Tiny.  It makes finding pants for her extremely hard. She is 24 months in length but more like 6-9mo in waist.  Complete opposite of Brielle's build. I have a feeling Beilyn will end up taller than Brielle within the next couple of years.

The rest of Fall Break (Camping post to come)~

Brielle had to get more dental work done but momma wanted to snap a picture of her pretty smile first!

After a trip to the dentist, I figured some ice cream was deserved. :)

One day, the girls asked to bake and decorate cakes.

Their masterpieces. Braylee also made a fortune cookie with the sections leftover from her star.
