Happy Birthday, Brielle & Beilyn!

It's our Birthday Twins' big day! 

Brielle is 11! 💜  Beilyn is 9! 💜

Brielle is so many fun things that it's hard to even put into words! She's smart, spunky, witty, goofy, adventurous, athletic, and brave. She can be really quiet or super silly. She's loyal, kind, creative, and inquisitive. She has tons of friends, tons of joy, and just little bit of sass. 😉

Oh Beilyn! This girly can be THE sweetest, most compassionate, tenderhearted child.  She's also feisty, quirky, and really loud. 😄  She's obsessed with cats and "all the animals." She says she wants to own a vet office and work in a zoo whens she grows up.  I love all the things that make her special! 💕💕

Beilyn's Birthday Party!

Happy [early] 9th birthday to Beilyn!  She requested a cotton candy party!

Life with Beilyn is always a delicate balance of doing what's best for her and keeping things as fair/normal as life is for her sisters. Beilyn doesn't really have friends (She's super social and loves her teachers but her uniqueness and speech delays makes friendships a little harder.) and didn't want a "friend party" like the other girls. She gets overwhelmed in large groups so the big family parties have been hard on her in the past but of course, she still wanted to celebrate with cake and gifts! So we compromised and just invited a couple "friends" (cousins) and kept it very low key for her.  It was perfect!! She loved the special attention. It was just the right amount! 💗

Golf Regional

The rain continued into the weekend. We feared Braylee would be teeing off in the rain this morning but it stopped 10 minutes before she headed to the course!  She didn't play as well as she did last year with the wet course but she enjoyed the day (no pressure like Sectional). We were thankful the sun came out too!

No carts allowed today. Since I didn't want wet, cold feet, my hubby came to the rescue & carried me from the house to the cart path. 🥰 He's the best!

Braylee & Liv finished up and instead of discussing what to work on for next year, they were strategizing about next year's uniforms and ripping on their coach. 😄

Braylee's 17th Birthday!

Pretty sure if you check the dictionary under Braylee, it will say "heart of gold." And if I'm wrong, it might simply say "sunshine." ☀️  A teacher told me today that Braylee is an "absolute delight" and I couldn't agree more.  Happy 17th Birthday to our BrayBray! 

Golf practice was rained out which meant more time to celebrate before church! (I just learned you can order custom cookie cakes at Walmart! Just wish I had known before Brynna's birthday. 😄)

I'm trying to figure out how these two cuties grew up so fast. 

Last night, we celebrated the MidAutumn Festival with moon pies.

Brynna's 15th Birthday!

Birthday season is here! Up first is Brynna Annabelle!  She's 15! ✨  Brynna is pretty quiet and independent, still loves dancing (tap is her favorite) and performing, is the best shopping/fashion assistant, and gives lots of hugs!  She makes our lives sweeter! 💗

Happy 15th Birthday, Brynna Annabelle!

After school and golf practice, we squeezed in dinner and cake before Brynna left for dance class.

When Brynna got home from dance, she opened her gifts. Then Alex and I had a surprise for the girls! We did a little charades with me acting out "hot" and Alex "tub." Brynna guessed it immediately while the other girls were saying, "What is dad supposed to be?!" 😂 It was fun and the girls were all excited!  The hot tub should be here next week! 

Golf Sectional

Sectional was moved to a different course this year where the girls have had very little experience.  It was a hot, September day with a rough start! Braylee was struggling on her first 9 holes. We were convinced her chance of making it out of Sectional again was gone... but she battled back and shot really well on the back 9 to tie for the 3rd individual spot! (The top 3 teams advance to Regional as well as the top 3 individuals from the remaining teams.)  The tie put her in a playoff.  Running out of daylight, they teed off on #1 and both parred.  On to hole #2.  They were both on the green... Braylee with a birdie putt and her opponent for a par putt. Even knowing she was ahead, I was barely breathing & so excited when that birdie putt went in the hole! And people say golf is boring! 😄 ⛳️ Her teammate Liv advanced as well! Brynna shot her personal best, beating Braylee's freshman score by quite a bit! She said she almost cried after she finished because she knew she had done her part to help the team. 💗 We also got to see Brynna's first birdie [in competition] on #15.  Such a fun day watching our girls!  The team *just* missed advancing as a team by 2 strokes. 

I had a little princess picnic with these cuties before leaving for the Sectional. It felt a little sentimental because it feels like yesterday that I was doing these things with Braylee & Brynna.

4th Place (out of 11).  Not bad considering it was the school's 1st ever Girls Golf team!  Alex checked all of the scores- Liv, Braylee, and Brynna ended up finishing 3rd, 5th, and 8th out of the non-seniors so we have high hopes for them & their team next year!!
