BellaMei's Birthday!

We arrived home from the beach on Saturday and had a donut party for our little BellaMei after church on Sunday! We had a small party at home with Alex's family and then will celebrate with my family on Easter. I can't believe my baby is 4!

Today was her official birthday!

Today was Career Day at school. So there was a farmer and vet around the table this morning. 😊

She spent the day at Gramma's. I'm sure she wasn't spoiled at all.

For dinner, she requested, "Pink m&ms, grapes, and tomatoes. No, wait. No, no, no tomatoes!" 😁 So she got pink m&ms, grapes, and another favorite, pork BBQ.

Spring Break 2021! {Destin}

After missing our beach trip last Spring Break when Covid started, we were even more excited for a week on the beach this year! 

We drove the RV down after the Semi-State Championship.

Sunday, March 21st

Girls headed to the beach as soon as we arrived at Camp Gulf on Sunday afternoon.

Parenting Beilyn without Brielle would be a totally different ball game. So thankful these sisters have each other. 💜

Alex convinced the girls to watch his Road to Glory tape, a recap of the 96-97 basketball season.

Monday, March 22nd

We took a morning walk around the campgrounds. This little purple cabin was our fave.

Beach Day! It was gorgeous without a cloud in sight.

This little sugar baby was having the time of her life! Her last week as a 3 yr old!

This food truck served delicious chicken nachos and mozzarella poppers.

After some time at the pool, we had tacos for dinner and walked down the street for ice cream later.

Tuesday, March 23rd

It was really windy and cloudy in the morning. I told the girls about how one Spring Break about 23 years ago, we dug trenches to stay warm and avoid the sand hitting us. It was the perfect trick on this morning too!

Wednesday, March 24th

It rained in the morning. The girls watched a movie while we read.

Alex took the older girls to an escape room.

Meanwhile, the little girls played at the playground.

Thursday, March 25th

Celebrating Mom's birthday!

She often says, "Mom, I wish we were at the beach eating nachos." because she knows it makes me happy. And that's exactly what we got on my birthday! 💗

One minute she's posing and the next, she is out.

They surprised me with a cookie cake!

42 feels pretty lucky.

Prettiest cookie cake we've ever had.

It was a perfect birthday for me- donuts, flowers, nachos, Chickfila, picnic with my favorite people, reading and relaxing by the pool, cookie cake, and topped it off with another game night. 💜

Friday, March 26th

We spent the morning shopping, but as soon as the sun peeked out, we were back at the beach.

She's so cute! 🥰
