Happy 6th Birthday, BellaMei!

BellaMei is 6 today!! She's a spunky little thing who makes are lives brighter with her funny quips! She's a girly girl who loves make up and jewelry, always wants to snuggle her momma, and still asks for a snack every 15 minutes! She can also be quite stubborn. 🤪

BellaMei's 1st birthday in China.

Today reminded me it's been a year since she hit a big milestone. When she was 5, we decided it was time see if she could give up her thumb-sucking. This baby loved her thumb! We prayed with her about it for a few weeks in preparation. When it came came time to go to bed on her birthday, she teared up (which made me tear up) and she said something along the lines of not being able to do it. I told her she couldn't do it alone, but she could ask Jesus to help her and He would be her comforter. She immediately calmed and slept all night without her thumb. Tonight, I asked her what she thinks about when she wants to suck her thumb. She said, "Be brave and God is always with me." Don't forget it, sweet girl! We love you! 🤍 Joshua 1:9

Spring Break 2023

I took Braylee and her friends to PCB for Spring Break. The weather wasn't perfect and the last morning, we were woke up by a false-alarm fire alarm 😄 but otherwise, it was a great time!

Sectional & My Birthday

Poor Braylee has been so sick!  I'm not even sure how many days of school she ended up missing but we found out the culprit was mono! She missed the last regular season game last week, Staff vs Seniors game, and all of Sectional week. She was finally released to go to the last game but wasn't allowed to cheer yet.  It was such a bummer to her Senior year. 

March 2nd - My last baby is signed up for Kindergarten!

March 3rd - Braylee was still feeling pretty miserable, but she didn't want to miss the game.

The gym was packed as usual when it's Barr-Reeve vs Loogootee.

Halfway through the game, the power went out temporarily.

We weren't expected to win, but it's still sad when you know it's your last game.

March 10th - Braylee was finally feeling better. These 3 made a fancy chocolate cake on their extra day off school.

She's become a little bookworm like her momma.

March 23rd - Brynna could have gotten her license in December but was in no hurry. Alex finally told her she had to do it before Spring Break. So with 1 day to spare, she officially has her license!

Little sugar made me a birthday gift. 💗

March 24th - Since we would be driving to Florida on my birthday, we celebrated a day early! They got me nachos and cookie cake for dinner and made me a super sweet video. They also gave me a special beach blanket for our Spring Break trip.
