Church Campout {Boggs}

The annual church campout was so relaxing...so much so that I didn't take very many pictures.  The only bad thing is that Brielle was sick. 😔 On Saturday afternoon, we thought it was odd that she was being cranky during the water games until I realized she had a fever!  She ended up having strep throat.  Poor girl.

Big Girls' Birthdays

September 20, 2016~  This was a big year for Brynna as she entered Double Digits! Her special gift from us was a locket with her initial on the front and pictures of her with us on the inside.

September 22, 2016~  Two days later, it was time to celebrate Braylee! Her last year before entering the teens. I can't believe how quickly she has grown into a little lady.

Braylee's 12th Birthday Party!

We celebrated Braylee & Sydney's 12th birthday with a pool party! Braylee usually isn't too picky, but she loved looking through pinterest for food ideas this year. The girls played water volleyball, had a handstand contest, filled up on pizza and sweets, and opened gifts.  Krista and I both felt like it was a little bittersweet...their last "kid" party.  They are becoming beautiful and kind young ladies.  What a pleasure it is to watch them enjoy their childhood!

Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

September is such a busy month that we almost forgot about the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival!

Braylee got braces, we enjoyed some moon pies under the moonlight, and I caught a sweet picture of my two littlest girls. 💗

An "Extraordinary" Day

It was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon and one of the girls suggested we go play tennis. We loaded up the golf cart and rode up to the school.

After their hard work, we stopped at the gas station for gatorades and taffy, two of their favorite treats.  Earlier that week, I had read a devotional to the girls about turning regular, ordinary days into extraordinary days.  Driving home, Brynna announced, "We just turned this into an extraordinary day!!"  I hope they always cherish these simple, family days.
