Happy 11th Birthday, Braylee! {9.22.15}

Braylee and her best friend Sydney had their birthday party at an all natural soap shop. She and her friends made soaps and lip gloss. It was perfect for my little scientist girl. Then we had a picnic dinner on the Ohio River, opened gifts, and stopped for ice cream on the way home. Such a fun and easy party!

The shop did all of the decorating and cupcakes.
We just showed up!
Birthday girls!
 These girls have always been within a 1/4inch of each other but Miss Syd has taken a growth spurt!

On her actual birthday, September 22nd, we had our traditional birthday donuts, singing, and a trip to Mi Pueblo at the request of the birthday girl.
Birthday gifts from Mom & Dad- a new chair and new jackets

Braylee is the best big sister and a huge help to this momma. We loved celebrating what a gift she is to our family! Happy Birthday, sweet girl! 💜

Happy 9th Birthday, Brynna!! {9.20.15}

Brynna turned 9 on September 20th!  I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with her being 9! When I made her birthday invitation, I originally put 8th birthday and she had to correct me. 😊   She was very specific about what type of party she wanted this year.... "Rainbow Chevron Art Party with Chocolate Fondue and Tie-Dye Shirts."  I told her we needed to narrow it down a little so she abandoned the t-shirt idea. Planning and decorating for her party is easy because she tells me exactly what she wants. She and Braylee did most of the decorating too...I just focused on the cake, which I barely completed about 35 minutes before guests were due to arrive!

Brynna made a little art easel for each of her guests.
They each painted bird houses and picture frames.
Brynna's sweet friends- Kennedy, Allie, Addison, Faith, & Emily
I took her and Addie to Mi Pueblo that evening...just the 3 of us. :)

The next day was her actual birthday.  We sang Happy Birthday and let her open her gifts before church. She requested a picnic lunch at the park and then that evening, she went to a fall fun party with her grandparents!  I think she had a fantastic weekend!
A new chair for her room, jacket, and shirt for our next trip. 😊
