The rest of April

The rest of the month included the little girls' Spring Concert, Easter at Gramma & Pappy's, start of Brielle's softball season, and my nephew's prom Grand March.  We also rearranged bedrooms so that's been a mess! All of the girls moved rooms except for Brynna so we've been moving beds, clothes, and some dressers. It's been fun redecorating their rooms, but that also means this will be Braylee's last room decor at our house! Only four more years with her at home makes me sad!
Beilyn in front/center of the main group.
Brielle in front middle in light pink dress.
These two girlies are now JV Cheerleaders!
Saturday morning...in jammies, bare feet or snow boots, and
watching a baby slug eat the goldfish cracker Bria gave it. ♥
Mamaw's new puppy, CoCo
Easter dinner & egg hunt at Gramma & Pappy's house
Knepp cousins ♥♥♥
Alex & Brielle- but who is coaching who? 😁
We had our 1 yr post-placement visit for this little sweetie earlier in the week. She sang her ABCs for our social worker and did a lot of talking during the visit. ☺

Brielle's Gotcha-versary! {7 years!}

April 23, 2012 completely changed our world! We met a spunky, beautiful little girl in a hotel room 7,000 miles from home. My heart skipped a beat the moment I laid eyes on her and it has never been the same since. ♥

A few months back during church, the pastor had us divide into small groups to pray. As I was praying with Brielle, we prayed for her family in China. She began to cry. I asked her if she missed them (though she never really knew them). She nodded. I continued to pray and said how I'm so glad I get to be her mommy. Through her tears, she said, "I'm glad too!" 😭💗 We are so grateful she is ours and we are hers!
Moments after meeting ~ April 23, 2012.  We finalized the adoption just a couple of hours later.
Arriving Home! May 3, 2012
She's wearing a little make-up because she had dance pictures tonight!
Then we rushed to her softball game. She hit a triple off her 1st pitch. I love that she's girly and strong at the same time!
We had to squeeze in pizza & cupcakes between softball, dance, and cheer (Thankfully tennis was rescheduled!), but we will always celebrate this little girl being in our family!
She can still "fit" into the 18mo outfit she was wearing on Gotcha Day!
Laughing about the split pants, common for little kids in China during potty-training. They are split a little more than they used to be though. 😄
From day 1 to day 2557. We've loved every minute of watching you grow, Brielle!

Easter Sunday

BellaMei's 1st Easter! We woke up extra early for Sunrise service. The girls took a quick peek in their baskets before we left. Then after church, the girls opened their goodies and we went to my parents' house for the day. It was a beautiful, Easter Sunday! ♥
Celebrate Jesus! Celebrate! 🎵
"The cross has spoken, I am forgiven. Jesus Christ, my LIVING hope!"
Love these girlies so much!
Opening a late birthday gift from Uncle Travis & Aunt Heather

She had lots of help playing with her new play-doh set. ☺

My oldest & youngest ♥

I'm in love with these pictures of the little girls. ♥

Today, Brielle & Beilyn put together their Chinese Lego sets that the Easter bunny brought!
