Start of Summer! {All the things we would have missed}

It's a weird feeling when you get to do all the things (and some unexpected things) you thought you were going to miss because of the graduation trip. The first surprise was Braylee being invited to join her BFF for a week at the beach! It made the sting of not flying out on Saturday a little less painful. 😄 

June 6 - Meanwhile, we had a pool date with the neighbors.

Brynna went fishing with Landon.

June 9 - Bria attended her 1st overnight at Camp Illiana.

Elsie was so excited Bria could join her!

And cousin Mattinglee was there too!! 💗

We thought we would miss Brielle's softball tourney but made it to every game.

June 10 - We went straight from Brielle's game to the baseball Semi-State. We were excited to see Braylee after her week away.

June 11 - Another day of softball.

So thankful we were there for Landon's baptism.

June 12 - Brielle made some delicious macarons!

June 13 - The garage was officially done so I took pictures for insurance. We're really happy with how it turned out! Now, we just need to add furniture. Braylee plans to stay out there on the weekends once she moves to college.

Our '23 Graduates {13 years apart}

We had a special trip planned for Braylee's graduation gift. We were supposed to leave tomorrow. On Tuesday, Alex pulled out the passports so we could go get our international drivers license...and realized the girls' passports expired in March. 🤦🏼‍♀️  There were tears, panic, and frustration, but we tried to focus on the positives in not going now too. Then Alex told me he had woken during the night the 3 nights prior to Tuesday with dread about the trip. He said he felt a weird sense of relief when the passport situation happened, so we don't know why but we weren't meant to take that trip just yet! Good news is everything has been rescheduled for August and new passports have been ordered!

Since we weren't packing today, we decided to have a photoshoot with our graduates! Braylee just finished her 13 years at Barr-Reeve and BellaMei will be starting hers in August!  It was a beautiful day with my beautiful girls!
