November News

In November News...

The girls finally got a chance to wear their new winter coats.

We were excited to hold Tyson and Lauren's new baby boy, Maddox!

Shopping with a 4 yr old, 3 yr old, and almost 2 yr old makes for an eventful day. :)

We helped Max celebrate his 5th birthday!

Braylee made her 1st apple pie! She did a great job decorating the top.

I love having a full table at dinner time. Ella & Gabe spent the evening with us.

The girls posed for a couple of pictures on Sunday morning.

Annabelle banged the side of her head this evening. It's looking much better in this picture than it did originally-- it was a huge, purple goose egg. I was in Mommy-mode instead of NP- mode, and my heart just broke for her. She's such a tough little cookie though.

Braylee is one silly kid. :) Aunt Trista and I took her to Bobe's on Tuesday night for getting Straight A's on her report card again.

Fall Festivities 2010

Ready for a quick recap of fun things we've been up to? Here we go...

Papaw stopped by one evening and enjoyed a game of Guess Who? with the girls.

We celebrated Uncle Andre's 30 birthday!

Brynna tried out the driver's seat in the firetruck.

We made our annual trip to Lark Ranch. My parents and niece Emilee joined us.

"Aunt" Abbie caught some cute pictures of Braylee at school during the Fall Parade!

We started out trick-or-treating down our road with Abby's kids as usual but it was getting cold! Braylee said her toes were freezing, so we went home to warm up a little and then drove to a few more houses.

Sunday after church, the girls put their costumes back on so we could show my family. We ate dinner at Granny & Pa's and then stopped in to see Mamaw at work. That evening, the girls dressed up for the Reformation Party at church. Braylee was Miriam with baby Moses and Brynna was an angel.

Fall Break 2010- Spring Mill

We love camping at Spring Mill in the fall. This year, we camped with Alex's brothers and families. The weather was perfect, and we had a fabulous time.

Friday, Alex still had to work but I took off since it was Braylee's fall break. We headed up to the campgrounds with Mandi & Andre around lunchtime. We set up camp, rode bikes, cooked over the fire, and then waited for the rest of our crew to arrive.

Saturday, we ventured down to the village. Aunt Mandi snapped some family pictures of us and also did a 4-year photo shoot for Miss Brynna. We love exploring the village, and Braylee even got to dance with her daddy.

Saturday evening, we topped off our meal with some birthday cake for Uncle Andre'. Unfortunately, we couldn't have a campfire due to the dry/windy weather so after putting the kiddos to bed, all of us adults climbed into the tent and played Taboo next to the space heater. Great memories. :)

Sunday morning, Alex's parents and Abbie, Gabe, & Max came to visit. We enjoyed a huge breakfast and then started out on a hike.

I'm so thankful for our family. The weekend was great!
