Spring Music Concerts

Thursday was the big girls' Spring Music program at school.  The theme was summer vacations. Brynna's class sang songs about visiting the mountains while Braylee sang about a day at the beach. It was Braylee's last elementary program. She's growing up too fast!

3rd Grade ~ Brynna is in the middle with the black plaid shirt on.
Alex's Uncle PJ rocked Bria to sleep during the concert. Being a dad of 7 gives you a magic touch. 😉
Braylee (on the left) was one of the surfers.
Our girls are growing up!

Yesterday, Braylee and Sydney played a flute duet for offering at church.

Tonight, they had their 5th grade band concert.  Braylee has really enjoyed learning to play the flute. She is a music lover for sure!

Beilyn's surgery

On Monday, Beilyn had surgery to repair an inguinal hernia. She was very brave but struggled coming out of the anesthesia as I suspected she might. Overall, things went smoothly, and I was having to remind her not to be bouncing on the bed the next morning. We had another great experience at St. Mary's.
Beilyn loved the new "Leila" she found waiting on the hospital bed for her.
She had smiles as long as everyone left her alone with the ipad but if the nurses wanted to do anything with her, she would say, "no way!"
So sad after surgery.
Snuggling daddy made her feel better.

Bria {4 months}

Our Bria AnnaClaire is 4 months old! Her favorites are drooling, babbling, and grabbing her piggies. She is a rock star sleeper and nurser! Brielle explains exactly how we all feel about Bria... While other 5 year olds are wishing for a princess or cowgirl party for their next birthday, Brielle said she wants a "Bria Party!" because "She's just so cuuuute!" ♥

Bria is 13.5 pounds and 25.75 inches. She loves tummy time now, rolls all over, and enjoys short periods of time in the exersaucer. She continues to be such an easy baby, something I do not take for granted.

Easter 2016

It was a beautiful Easter weekend with several firsts! Brielle & Beilyn participated in the foot washing for the 1st time. Breakfast was served in our new fellowship hall at church for the 1st time. And of course, it was Bria's 1st Easter!

Part of our Maundy Thursday service is a foot washing ceremony.  I was off feeding the baby, but another mom snapped these pictures of my girls participating with the other women. Praying they will grow up to be ladies with humble hearts and a joy for serving others.
Brynna & Addie
Krista helped the little girls.

~Easter Sunday~

Getting ready for church. My oldest and youngest. ♥
Bria's 1st Sunrise Service. She looked very cozy in her warm seat.
Ready for church to begin. We *almost* fill up the pew.
Bell Choir ~ I didn't think about it until adding this picture to the blog, but 9 of these cuties are cousins. The back row (minus the blonde in the middle) plus 3 in the front row all belong to Alex's Swartzentruber family. Three of the 4 others are related on that side too but more distantly.
An Easter Tradition ~ The children parade through the sanctuary with flags and streamers as we sing in celebration that Jesus is alive!
Beilyn 3, Braylee 11, Sydney 11, Bria 3mo, Addison 8, Brynna 9, and Brielle 5

After church, we went to my Grammy's house for dinner and an egg hunt.  (I didn't realize my camera setting had gotten switched so some outdoor pictures are over exposed but still sweet memories.)
Easter was my big brother's birthday too!
My niece Emilee and Bria
The twins
Beilyn loves her Grammy.
Mattinglee, Tracee, Heather, Emilee, Bria, me, and Trista
Love these girls. ♥
