Beilyn's Gotcha Day! {3 years!}

May 4th was Beilyn's Gotcha day! We celebrated 3 years with our wild and crazy Beilyn AnnaKai! She makes us laugh everyday and keeps us on our toes. Her preferred name right now is Lovebug Queen Narnia Superman and if she doesn't get her way, she says, "uh-hem, me Queen Narnia...." We are forever grateful for the opportunity to be her family and watch her thrive. She has my heart! 💜
Alex took her to pick out the ice cream cake she was dreaming of and thankfully, they had purple!
Look at those long legs! Wearing her outfit from Gotcha Day.
Always moving. ☺

Brielle's Forever Family Day! {5 Years!}

April 23, 2012 is still one of my most favorite days ever. Five years ago, we were in Nanchang, China meeting our spunky, smart, and beautiful Xin Meng!  Less than an hour later, we signed our names and stamped our thumb prints in red, promising to love her forever. 💗

Singing Happy Gotcha Day to Brielle!
Then & Now
I'm not sure how many more years she will be able to fit into her gotcha day outfit. It's getting pretty snug!
Having a chat with mommy about the day we met. ♥
It was a beautiful day!  We spent the afternoon at the tennis courts. Beilyn had her kitty purse and mermaid high heels on. haha.
Our 1st night together 5 years ago ♥
Brielle's Kindergarten teacher sent this to me the next day. In her writing journal at school, she wrote
"4-24-17 This weekend I had my gochuday." ♥♥♥

Easter 2017

The day before Easter, the girls waited patiently for Bria to wake up from her nap so they could dye Easter eggs.  The party lasted about 2 minutes before the girls were ready for her to leave! ha! She was breaking eggs and making a mess.
If you get caught throwing all of the eggs into the green cup, your sisters will kick you out. Poor Bria!
This poor Easter bunny must not be getting enough sleep.  I mixed up Braylee & Brielle's baskets, had one turned around backwards, took pictures of it all, and still never noticed!
Thankfully, the big girls were up first and helped me fix the baskets.
Celebrating Jesus at church

We spent the rest of the day at Mamaw & Papaw's house.
11 grandkids ♥
They were hiding their eyes while Braylee hid the giant egg again. Over and over.

It was a long day, but a beautiful day. So humbling to remember what Christ did for all of us on the cross. Forever Grateful. ♥
