Our Presidential Scholar!

On February 3rd, Braylee interviewed for the Presidential Scholarship at USI.  Today, she received THE CALL during her lunch break at school. Then the principal gave her permission to come home and tell me in person. We didn't expect to hear back so soon but wow! Such an exciting day! It still feels a little surreal! Her dream was to get the Presidential Scholarship. We are just so happy for her!! She's worked really hard for this achievement. It covers 4 years of tuition, housing, books, and a meal plan! She's officially a Screaming Eagle like her mom & dad! ❤️🤍💙

Girls Weekend on 30A

Adoption has brought us many blessings, including deep friendships. I loved my weekend away with these girls! They get me and encourage me! We have 24 kids between us so a few quiet days away was such a treat!

January {Cheer, Basketball, & Chinese New Year}

January in Indiana usually revolves around basketball (and cheer in our case).

Getting ready to have her dad as a teacher. 😄
Alex does a series in the Seniors Econ class.
It's the first time my girls have ever cheered in my old high school's gym. It felt kind of surreal to be back in there 26 years later cheering for a different team.
My parents with my girls.
I'm so glad they love each other so much! Brynna is going to miss Braylee so much next year!
My grandparents with my girls.
Back at WRV for another game. My nieces with my girls.
Brynna with her besties.
My Great Aunt Ree and my Pa.
We celebrated her 95th birthday!
The grounds where the party was held has animals, including a zebra!
Brielle's 6th grade team
Our girl is usually the smallest one out there.
New glasses!
We did a little prom dress shopping! When I was in HS, you could choose any dress and have it ordered in the size and color you wanted. Now, you just take what is available in your size, which is slightly stressful but also helps to narrow down the choices. Braylee and Sydney both found their dresses that weekend but you'll have to wait until April to see which ones they picked!
It was an easy decision really. I had chosen it for her to try on but she didn't think she would like it... the moment she walked out of the dressing room, we both knew it was the one! 💜
Brielle and Simon are both super competitive. In this case, he beat her and I caught their reactions! 😄
My Senior! ❤️🤍🖤
Braylee found out she will be Valedictorian of her class! She made it her goal back in 4th grade and she did it!!
We celebrated Chinese New Year with our adoption friends.
My little artist Bria drew this for Year of the Rabbit.
BellaMei sure loves Landon!
Look at that!! My girls made the Wall of Fame at school!!
Snow day at home means time for art and puzzles! Their paintings show a glimpse at their development levels. Beilyn works really hard, but she's still several years behind in a lot of things.
