Special B-day on V-day

We welcomed a special little someone this morning to our family! My little sister Trista wasn't due until March 1st, but her blood pressure has been elevated for the last couple of weeks. Dr decided to go ahead and induce her last night. We were all so excited...gotta love the chaos. :) We gave them kisses and then headed home so they could try to sleep.

Pitocin was started about 8pm and she progressed slowly, especially after having to turn the pitocin off since baby wasn't tolerating it very well. Between 6am-8am though, she went from 6cm to completely dilated and started pushing about 8:30.

Brynna and I made it to the hospital just in time this morning. At 9:27, Miles Keith made his grand entrance into the world, weighing 6 lbs 5 ounces. He shares his birthday with our Grammy!

It is so fun to watch our family grow! In the last 3 years, we have added 5 little cousins to our family...Ella, the twins, Liam and now Miles!
