July Update {Lots of Firsts}

We have had a wonderful summer! It is so fun having Brielle home and watching her experience lots of new things. Here's a quick glimpse at what we've been up to since camping...minus our week of VBS that will get a post of it's own.

July 9th- We knew our little sugar loved corn but this was her 1st attempt at corn on the cob.

She finished every single bit of it!

July 10th- How cute is that?!

July 10th- We picked some apples off Grandma-Great's tree. So yummy!

July 11th- Braylee had her first "foil." ;) She got a purple stripe. It is already starting to wash out.

July 12th- Brielle's 1st day at the sitter's house

She did really well the 1st day but has had some separation anxiety since then.

July 14th- Practicing some golf skills with daddy.

She thinks she can do anything the big girls do.

She did so well! She just snacked (a favorite past time!) and then snuggled on mommy's lap.

Her 1st corndog. It was actually Braylee's, but after one bite, Brielle claimed it as her own!

July 17th- Brielle was introduced to skillet queso at Chili's.
I'll let you guess if she liked it or not! :)

Then we went to the mall so she could get her ears pierced!
I always talk Mamaw into holding the girls for me.

I had packed a lollipop and as soon as she saw it, the pain seemed to instantly disappear
and she was focused on admiring her new jewels.



She got a new necklace too. She is such a girly girl!

We went to a post-op visit for Brielle. We laughed and laughed at her trying to pick up Mamaw's super heavy purse! It probably weighs as much as her! Notice the wardrobe change...that's thanks to the blue slushie Mamaw spoiled her with at the cookie place!

July 21st- Brielle was having a blast at Liam's bday party!

July 22nd- The girls sang for offering at church. Practicing before church...

Like I said, she thinks she is one of the big girls.
(Thankfully, she was content to watch them from Mommy's lap during offering.)

July 23rd- 1st time wearing panties.
I think I will start potty-training when the big girls go back to school.

One last trip to the local pool for the summer.

July 28th- Hadlee, Kooper, and Brielle playing on the same old playground we did as kids.

Wishing Mamaw Happy Birthday and visiting with family at the Clifford Reunion.
