Vacation 2013 Day 11 {A stop in Miami}

12.7.13~ The morning after the wedding, we all met for brunch and then we headed north again.  We were excited to stop in Miami to visit another adoptive family. Pam and I met on an adoption board when we were both early in our adoption processes 3 years ago. We waited through immigration together, getting referrals, more immigration, and then preparing to travel. Our little 3 yr olds are just a little over a week apart in age! It was so fun to finally meet in person and see the girls play together!

We had a wonderful time! Pam & JC are great hostesses and so very sweet! Braylee & Brynna have already asked when we can go back.

On the way to Emma's house from Key West, Brielle asked me where we were going and this is how the conversation went...

B: Where we going?

Me: Miami

B: It's your ami?

Me: No- Miami.

B: your ami?

Me: laughing

B: What you say?

Me: We're going to Miami.

B: I'm not going to your ami. (pause)  Grammy??

Me: The town is called Miami.

B: We are not going to your ami. I'm scared of your ami. Wait a second, where we going?


It's so fun having a 3 yr old around (most of the time)!
