~ 40 years ~

My parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on August 2nd!  We hosted a party in their honor the following weekend and also celebrated my dad's 60th birthday, which is August 25th. Alex teased my dad that he's not sure which was a bigger feat...my dad making it to 60 or that he convinced my mom to stay with him for 40 years. 😄  I'm so thankful for parents who made a commitment to stick together no matter what. ♥

40 years is the "Ruby Anniversary" and ruby also happens to be my mom's birthstone. 

Brynna had to try on her dress too. 💗
