April 6th was our first day of eLearning since the quarantine time started. After March 13th, we had a week off, then Spring Break, then another week off, which meant a full 3 weeks of being lazy, eating lots of baked goods, and binging TV shows. It was good to get into a little bit of routine again. Here's our schedule:
Before 8:30- eat breakfast, get dressed, fix hair, brush teeth, make beds
8:30- morning devotions/prayer
8:45- exercise
9:00- Start school- Brielle's turn (The 3 older girls are on their own and the other little girls play upstairs or outside.)
10:00- Break (Snack for littles)
10:15- Beilyn's turn for school
11:30- chores
Noon- Lunch then free time
1:00-3:00 Quiet time - Reading for middle girls, school for older girls, and naps for the babies
3:00- snack and free time/play outside
6:00- dinner
9:00- Bedtime reading/devotions/prayer
In the afternoons and evenings, we spend a lot of time outside when it's not raining. The girls have been really good about sticking to the schedule.

Alex put this sign on his office door the first day.
Two children were sent to the principal's office over the month. I won't say who but it would be easy to guess. 😁 |
| On Day 2, we gained a new student. Love the elephant's backpack! This also benefited the teacher who made the new student practice the sight words that Beilyn said she already did the day before. 😉 |
| Some neighbors created a special "hopscotch" around the cul-de-sac which made for a perfect PE time. |
| Juan is a girly-girl. She loves purses, glitter, make up, and puts on a dance outfit pretty much everyday. |
| Gramma sent over her birthday gift, 3 new shirts/shorts for summer. |
| The first week of eLearning was done via paper packets the girls had brought home from school in March. |
| When I shared Beilyn's completed paper on IG, a few people asked how she's doing. Beilyn understands ABC order, but she can't say her ABCs independently so she needed help getting them in the right order. They also asked if she could read the words... She could read 7 of them! My main goal with the worksheet was for her to write legibly. That's worth celebrating too! |
| By the 5th week at home, BellaMei was getting a little stir crazy and her response "They won't know." makes me a little nervous for her teenage years. 😆 |
| I stayed home from work for 3 weeks but have gone back just 1 day/week. I get frequent check-ins from Beilyn while I'm gone. 🥰 |
| Sometimes the girls practice their splits and backbends during exercise time. |
| Her favorite things- her kitty and her "hello." |
| Xiaoyun taught us a new card game - zhēng shàngyóu 争上游. We just call it "Bomb." |
| Watching church via live stream |
| She doesn't like it, but she does work really hard. |
| Once her schoolwork is done, she gets her kitty and hello time. ❤️ |
| These two are the cutest. They kept singing this little jingle on our walk- "Best Friends, you & me. Better friends there could not be." 💕 |

| What's 3 more little girls for morning devotions? 🤷🏼♀️ At least they were quiet! |

| Today was Londyn's birthday! Her family went for a hike and stopped by to say hi on their way home. |
