Easter 2017

The day before Easter, the girls waited patiently for Bria to wake up from her nap so they could dye Easter eggs.  The party lasted about 2 minutes before the girls were ready for her to leave! ha! She was breaking eggs and making a mess.
If you get caught throwing all of the eggs into the green cup, your sisters will kick you out. Poor Bria!
This poor Easter bunny must not be getting enough sleep.  I mixed up Braylee & Brielle's baskets, had one turned around backwards, took pictures of it all, and still never noticed!
Thankfully, the big girls were up first and helped me fix the baskets.

We spent the rest of the day at Mamaw & Papaw's house.
11 grandkids ♥
They were hiding their eyes while Braylee hid the giant egg again. Over and over.

It was a long day, but a beautiful day. So humbling to remember what Christ did for all of us on the cross. Forever Grateful. ♥

Early April Highlights

Gramma & Pappy took these 4 to a Casting Crowns concert.
Easter Egg hunt with Gramma & Pappy
Braylee & Sydney's 1st Jr. High tennis match
Easter egg hunt and party at school
Brielle's Spring Music Program
Brielle was a bunny for one of the songs. I forget how tiny she is until I see her with her classmates.
Just a regular morning, getting my baby up for the day.
Beilyn wore that headband with the plastic dinosaur stuck in the front of it for days. She said it helps her fight the bad guys.
Easter at Gramma & Pappy's.  Brynna made the cake!
I love that my "big" girls still have wild imaginations and love playing outside with their little sisters.
Brielle found my old roller skates!
And Beilyn learned to pedal a bike!
Big Sister/Baby Sister walk with momma with our house in the background.
Beilyn asleep in the middle of playing again.
She's obsessed with shoes.
Helping mom with the landscaping.

Spring Break ~ Day 17 {Home}

When we arrived at the RV park last night, it was too dark to see much of anything. As we drove out this morning, we could tell it was a lot like Bogg's at home, except this place had one of the biggest, nicest bath houses I have ever seen.  It would have been fun to stick around and explore a little but we were ready to get home.
No road trip seems complete without a stop at Cracker Barrel.

It was an uneventful drive and within minutes of arriving home, the girls were already playing dress up.

Alex made a list of the most common phrases from our trip. 😄💓

-Anytime anyone mentioned "Texas" Beilyn would say, "5 babies live in Texas!" She is obsessed with the show Outdaughtered about a Texas couple who have 6 daughters, including a set of quintuplets.

-We worked hard to break Braylee of the habit of saying, "Exactly!" Most of the time, she's truly just agreeing with someone, but it tends to come off a little too sassy at times.

-Evidently, I say, "Girls, seriously?!" a lot. haha.  It's usually because they left their trash behind, think they need a snack 10 minutes after dinner, threw their dirty clothes in the floor, got in bed without brushing their teeth, etc.  You know, the typical things kids do.

-Alex said his most common phrase was "Beilyn, stop screaming." That girl. 😂 She has a high volume and does a lot of screeching and squealing when she can't get her point across, which is fine in the RV but not so great in a museum or restaurant.

-The funny thing Brielle would say is, "Dad, I can't read!" in her sassy tone when he would tell her to look at a sign. It's funny because she CAN read! haha!

Indiana > Kentucky > Tennessee > Arkansas > Oklahoma > Texas > Louisiana > Mississippi > Alabama > Tennessee > Kentucky and back home again in Indiana.
What a trip!  Can't wait to plan the next one!

Spring Break ~ Day 16 {Gulf Shores}

Alex walked down to the beach for the sunrise while I stayed back at the RV with the girls. We spent the morning on the beach again. The girls told me how much fun they had riding the waves with their daddy. We soaked up every last minute of the sand and sun until it was time to shower and start heading north.
It was so fun having our besties with us!
Beilyn asked her daddy to build her a "Baby Superman car with wings" so that's what he did.
Bria's feelings about our trip coming to an end.
My sweet baby sleeping the afternoon away. ♥
We drove to northern Alabama and then camped for the night. The girls watched a movie before bed and I found myself watching them.  Oh to be a kid again...sleeping on the top bunk and no cares in the world.
