4th of July Weekend {Lieber State Park}

Since we were traveling last July, we had spent the holiday weekend in North Dakota at Bonanzaville USA.  It was really fun, but it was also great to be back doing our traditional 4th of July camping with Alex's family! We went to Lieber State Recreational Area this year, a first for all of us! The campground was beautiful and had a perfect spot for some wiffle ball, but we spent most of our time on nearby Cagles Mill Lake. Such a fun weekend!  Well, except for the part when Alex's GoPro flew off and ended up at the bottom of the lake. 😫 That wasn't fun, but it's fine. We already have a new one ordered.
The kids played cards while the adults enjoyed the campfire on Thursday evening.
Friday was spent out on the lake.
There were a few peaceful minutes when most of the kids were on the speed boat or jet ski and us adults could relax!
Braylee took a test the day before we left to get her jet ski license!
More lake time on Saturday.
Beilyn's smile never leaves her face when she's on the jet ski. 😁
Our crew is Alex's family plus his aunt & uncle and their kids & grandkids. Alex's brother Adam's family couldn't make it this year.
Beilyn's dinner. 😆 She loves her some watermelon.

On Sunday, we visited Cataract Falls.
